Who we are
Isaac is the owner of Heartwood Tree Service and often mistaken for an Irishman. He’s Canadian, but his home has been Australia since 2001. Isaac has developed a solid reputation for safety, reliability and professionalism, both within the tree service industry and local community.
We value our customers and relationships. Most of our residential tree work comes from repeat customers, however we also do commercial and government work with insurers, builders, strata companies, schools, not-for-profit organisations, Enviro Frontier, SES and the NSW government.
We pride ourselves on our clean-up efforts and will never leave you with a mess. We will take away all materials and rake and blow the area before we leave, regardless of the size of the job.
If you would like to keep any materials that’s fine. We can block up your felled trees for firewood, or leave you with some wood chip for the garden. At the end of the day our goal is to do the best job possible and be invited back.
Our arborists hold a minimum qualification of AQF Certificate III in Arboriculture, plus all other relevant tickets and certification including NSW White Cards and Police Clearances. We continually invest in skills development and the education of our team members to ensure Heartwood Tree Service remains competitive, professional and efficient.
Locally owned and operated
Heartwood Tree Service is based in Mittagong and was established in 2010 to service the Southern Highlands of NSW, including Mittagong, Bowral, Moss Vale, Exeter, Bundanoon, Penrose, Wingello, Robertson, Colo Vale, Bargo and all the villages in between.
At Heartwood Tree Service, we take our environmental responsibility seriously, and are aiming for zero tree waste. This means recycling the whole tree for timber, woodchip and firewood – and we are working with other local companies to expand our efforts in this area.
